How to enable Multitasking Gestures on iPad with iOS 5 ( Video Tutorial)

New multitasking gestures have been introduced to the iPad. These include ability to:
------ Use four or five fingers to pinch to the Home Screen
------ Swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar
------ Swipe left or right to switch between apps
These multitasking gestures only work on iPad 2 with iOS 5 as at the time of publishing this article. Many iPad 1 users have been reported to be complaining that the new gestures are not working on their iPad 1.

The new gestures are explained below:

1. If you are in any app and you place all your 5 fingers on the screen and swipe in towards the middle, you will be taken right back to the main screen without having to hit the home button.

2. When you are using an app you can put 4 fingers on the screen and swipe left or right to quickly jump back and forth between the different apps that you have opened. This is very useful and make for quick and simple multitasking.

3. If you place four fingers on the screen ( from any screen) and then swipe them up and it will bring up the multi tasking bar instead of hitting the home button twice.

If you would like to enable and use these gestures now, check out the video below :

If any one has an iPad 1 and the new multitasking gestures work for you, kindly let me know.

Cheers!
