All Your Posts Not Displaying on Your Blogger Homepage? The Solution

Do you have a Blogger/Blogspot blog and wondering why all your posts are not displaying on your homepage despite the fact that you have set  the maximum to display via the Blogger settings? Well, worry no more as I have decided to share some tricks with you that might help you fix the problem.

You might have set 7 posts to be shown on your Blogger/Blogspot homepage but if the page is taking longer to load than it should, Blogger Auto Pagination will set in. This will make some of your posts to disappear from the home page.

Auto Pagination is a feature introduced by Blogger which makes the pages load faster and smoother. This automatically limits the posts displayed on the Blogger home page depending on (a) the amount of HTML on the page being requested (in kilobytes) and (b) the number of images on the page.

Some Bloggers complained about it on Bloggerslab and one member of the group shared this solution on iTechColumn.com and it worked for those whose lodged the complain.

In the post, the Blogger mentioned three things that might trigger it based on findings while searching for solution at different forums:

1. Images having base64 encoding. He said this encoding makes the blog page highly large in size. Hence, if you see something similar to the one shown below next to your image url in your HTML template, then it might have caused it.

Just use CTRL F to search your post/blog HTML, ensuring your images doesn't have base64 encoding.

2. Many images, multimedia contents, and text in a blog post.

3. By dragging and dropping images from other sites/blogs directly on your posts. He advised that you should always use the "Insert image" feature provided by Google for inserting pictures into your blog posts.

So, How Do I DeActivate Blogger Auto Pagination?

The Blogger mentioned in the post that a blog post with over 60 images was identified and decided to include read more tag in it. Thereafter, all his other posts that supposed to be displayed on the home page re-appeared again.

So, if u are having similar problem, insert read more on all posts that supposed to appear on the homepage and see if they will re-appear. You can try it one by one starting with the ones with heavy images.

I hope this helps.
