PostCron: Alternative to Ping.fm and Seesmic that Allows You Schedule Posts to Facebook Profile, Pages and Twitter

In one of my reviews, I informed you that at Ping.fm, you can post at once to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Friendfeed etc Well, as at the time of publishing this post, you can no longer enjoy the free services because it was acquired by Seesmic, which also has been acquired by HootSuite. Though  HootSuite offers a suite of social media management tools like Seesmic, I still find it extremely complex to use. Hence, the search for a simple alternative.

So, What is the Alternative to Seesmic and Ping.fm?

==> PostCron

What is PostCron?

PostCron is a web service that lets you schedule your posts on Facebook and Twitter. You can schedule and post updates, images and links to your Facebook wall, Facebook pages and your Twitter timeline at ONCE, thereby saving considerable time.

PostCron is very simple and easy to use. It is not totally free but offers a free service that still allows you to post to your Facebook timeline, Facebook pages and Twitter though there is restriction on the number of posts allowed on the free account.

How To Use PostCron

==> Go to www.postcron.com

==> Sign Up by connecting PostCron to your Facebook account

==> If successful, click the "connect account" button to add your Facebook pages and Twitter account

==> Whenever you write an update, add a photo or a link and want to share to your FB wall, Pages and Twitter, make sure you click on their respective buttons as seen above and click the "Post Now" button

==> If you want to scedule your post, click the arrow beside the "Post Now" button, and select "Schedule". If you click the "Schedule" button, it will display a calendar that lets you select the data and exact time you want the post to be published.

That's all.

Try it and share your experience with me via comments.

Do you know any other alternative to Ping.fm, Seesmic Ping and HootSuite? Kindly share via comments

    Nice one there. Tried it and worked but seems there is no PostCron app for iOS and Android. Any idea as regards this?
