WhatsApp is considered one of the most popular mobile applications worldwide, owned by “WhatsApp Inc.” The application allows instant chat features, file & location sharing and more via smart phones through the internet.
In line with its commitment to offering best telecoms experience to Nigerians, leading telecoms services provider, Airtel Nigeria, has secured the exclusive right to launch “WhatsApp” packages in Nigeria after a cross-promotion agreement with “WhatsApp Inc.
According to Olu Akanmu, the Chief Marketing Officer of Airtel Nigeria, the “WhatsApp” data bundle service would provide great a channel to connect Nigerian youths to their friends with unlimited access.
So, What is the code to subscribe to the Airtel Unlimited Whatsapp Bundle?
To subscribe, dial *948#
It costs N100/month
NB: Customers who activate data bundles of 200MB or more can also enjoy unlimited access to “WhatsApp” without having to pay for the value-added service.
I don't think there's anyone who would want to use ONLY whatsapp for an entire month, without Browsing, 2go'ing, facebooking, etc.
ReplyDeleteThis plan is just a waste cos you're still subscribe normal plans to gain access to other things.
How about this scenario: you have a BB and an android phone. The SIM card on the BB is a private line you wont want to share with a lot of people but you still want to be chatting with whatsapp. Don't you think subscribing to Whatsapp ONLY on the android phone just for chatting will be cool???
DeleteI believe Airtel is trying to keep us on their network but they need to expand their broadband, cos it is now as jam-packed as MTN
ReplyDeleteI hope they work on this asap.
DeleteNot bad...pls what is the APN of airtel
