I'm currently testing Sulvo-powered ads as alternative to Google Adsense ads and I've decided to share it with you. I submitted ogbongeblog for approval earlier this month and it was approved last week Wednesday. Although this is not sulvo.com review but I think this will be useful to publishers that love trying different advertising networks.
Sulvo simply lets you monetize your blog with sticky video ads, sticky mobile ads, sticky display ads and regular display ads - and get paid per thousand impression of ads served on your blog. Sulvo lets you get the best possible CPM by letting more ad networks bid for the ad impressions on your blog - and Adsense is one of the bidders competing for the impressions through Sulvo.
As at the time of publishing this post, I've added a sticky 300x250 sticky display ad which displays at the bottom right hand corner of my blog when viewed on desktop and tablets. I've also been able to replace the Google Adsense sticky ad that sticks to the edge of visitor's screen when viewed on mobile, with Sulvo sticky mobile ad which can be displayed at the top or bottom of mobile screen.
So far, I've earned $1.66 per 1000 ad impressions for the sticky 300x250 ad unit and $1.26 per 1000 impression for the sticky mobile ad. This simply means if sulvo 300x250 ad is served 100,000 times on my blog, I will likely earn around $160. Not bad imo because I currently don't have google ad on the sidebar and the Adsense mobile sticky ad earnings don't really make sense to me.
Sulvo threshold is $100 and payment methods include : payoneer, paypal, international wire transfer. For Nigerian bloggers, international wire transfer and payoneer should be fine. If you have a PayPal account that can receive payment, no probs! You can open Payoneer account free of charge though.
According to some sulvo reviews I've read online, you will earn cool money from your blog with Sulvo ads if you get lots of traffic from european countries - and it's recommended not to have more than 5 Sulvo and AdSense ad units together per page.
You can click here to request for an account at sulvo.com.
You will be required to place a code in your blog for verification purpose. After placing the code in your blog's html, you got to wait for approval mail. This might take up to a week though. Once approved, you can sign in to your sulvo account to start generating your sulvo ad codes.
As always, there are some requirements your site needs to fulfill such as minimum traffic and site quality. However, if you are already running AdSense and comply to the AdSense Program Policies there should not be any additional requirements for you.
Feel free to give it a try and if you're already monetizing your blog with sulvo, kindly share your experience too.
