The owners of the YOUR-FREEDOM software offer a very basic service for free. 
This FreeFreedom is good enough to make you familiar with YOUR-FREEDOM and test whether or not your browsers or applications will work with it. It might be good enough for you, in which case you are welcome to use it as much as you like.
There are several restrictions in the FreeFreedom profile, which are of course there to convince you of the benefits of buying a package.
First of all the bandwidth is very low (the connection will be slow especially if you are using it with dial-up internet connection) and the number of concurrent streams is very low as well. Then there is a connection time limit- you can only be connected 18hours in a week, and only 6 hours in a day, also after one hour your session is disconnected, but you may connect again immediately.
If you would like to have more bandwidth (so the speed will be normal as your dial-up connection, if you are using it with dial-up internet connection), more concurrent streams, or other additional features, or you would simply like to support the efforts of the YOUR-FREEDOM providers, consider buying a package.
If you one of the geeks using Your-Freedom to browse free on your PC, you should also consider buying a package at least BASIC PACKAGE, if not, THE FreeFreedom WILL FRUSTRATE YOU.
The upgrade packages are available as one month, three months, six months or twelve months upgrades, and come in three different levels that they call BasicFreedom, EnhancedFreedom and TotalFreedom.

There is a currency calculator as well to convert the price in Euros to your local currency or at least one known to you.

Newly bought packages are instantly activated. It may take a few minutes for updates to propagate to all servers, and you may have to restart your connection or even the YOUR-FREEDOM client to see the difference.

Here, you will also see the date your package will expire.
