How To Load Airtime on Glo iPad Without Removing SIM Card

You can load recharge cards or airtime on the Apple iPad powered by Glo Mobile Nigeria, without removing your SIM card from your iPad. Mind you, your iPad must be 3G iPad and not just a wifi iPad.  ( Ordinary wifi iPads do not have slot for SIM card) .

How To Get Started

==> Tap the Settings icon on your iPad screen

==> Tap "Mobile data" or "Cellular data". You should now see "SIM Applications" as seen in the picture below

==> Tap the "SIM Applications" > Magic Plus  >  My Account >  Balance > Recharge

==> You will now see where you can enter your recharge pin as seen in the picture below

==> Enter the recharge card pin without putting any code in front. i.e just type 123456789123456

==> Tap the "Send" button.

If successful, your account balance will be displayed on the screen.

That's all.

NOTE: If you can't find the "SIM Applications" option on your iPad, you will have to go to the nearest Gloworld office to get a new Glo MicroSIM card for iPad.

I hope this helps....

In my future posts, I will share with you how to subscribe for Glo iPad data plans directly from your iPad without removing your SIM card. Just make sure you susbcribe to this blog, if you do not want to miss it.

Cheers!

    1. No, you have to do that by yourself via the GloHSI Portal. if you do not have an active bundle, just try visiting any web page and the portal will display. From there, click on "view all available plans", then click "Buy Now" below the bundle you want to buy. Restart your safari browser. That's all

    1. Just go to the nearest GloWorld office and request for SIM swap. The new microSIM that will be issued to you, will definitely have the SIM applications embedded in it.

    1. You might need to do a SIM swap if your SIM is an old SIM. SIM applications are not embedded in some old SIMS
