What is MailMunch ?

MailMunch is a service that helps you capture leads from your website. It simply lets you create beautiful responsive, mobile optimized opt-in forms which also sync your newsletter subscribers to MailChimp, Constant Contact, AWeber, GetResponse, Campaign Monitor, InfusionSoft and others. In fact, it supports custom integration which I've used to integrate MailMunch with Feedburner and MadMimi lists.

MailMunch lets you create multiple type of opt-in forms so you don’t have to rely on one way of collecting leads. These include popups, embedded forms, top bars, slide boxes and more.

MailMunch optin form types

You can set your pop up opt-in-form to display at specified seconds after page load, or when a site visitor wants to exit your site. You can even make a pop up form show when a link or button is clicked. Cool....huh?

The bar opt-in forms stick to the top or bottom of the screen as a user scrolls through the page and asks them to subscribe. The slide box slides in when a user is about to finish reading your page and politely asks them to subscribe. Embedded forms can be added anywhere on your site : sidebar, top of post, middle of post, below post etc

MailMunch Designer let's you choose from professionally designed high-converting themes for your optin forms to make your email opt-in forms look amazing. You can further customize the optin forms to match with your website or blog. There are various options to modify backgrounds, colors, fonts etc.

One interesting feature I like alot is the MailMunch Page Level Targeting feature which lets you show your opt-in-forms exactly where you want. You can create different forms for different posts or pages to build a hyper targeted list. If using it on a WordPress site, you can set your form to be shown on posts in a specific category etc. You can as well hide your form from specific pages etc

There are also advanced features that like : content gate and tracking pixels. Content Gate makes it impossible for a site visitor to close the opt in form until they subscribe. Tracking Pixels let you send impression and conversion data to your favorite analytics services such as Google Analytics, Facebook etc. You can  fire pixels that are triggered when a visitor views your form or when a visitor successfully subscribes to your form. You can also pass in subscriber's email address by typing [EMAIL].

Other Features

  • A/B Testing: Find which opt-in form gets more email subscribers
  • Analytics: View email subscription analytics and statistics for all time.

It’s 100% free to get started on one of your sites. In addition, there’s no limit on the number of subscribers or forms you can create for your site. However, if you want more advanced features like content gate, analytics, tracking pixels, A/B testing and more, you have to upgrade to paid plans.

This is not a full MailMunch review but I think it's enough to let you check try out the service. You can get started at www.MailMunch.co

I will share with you later, how to integrate MailMunch with Feedburner, MadMimi and how to use it on WordPress blogs. So, subscribe to my email updates if you don't want to miss the tutorials.

What's your take on this?
